About Hot Booths

A photography enthusiast and amateur photographer, Jamar’s journey to creating Hot Booths was surprisingly nonlinear. The start was behind the decks - as a DJ.

After years of DJing at private events, viewing and using photo booths, he saw there weren’t many options for clients that spoke to people like him. Many photo booths were using unsightly, outsized setups, antiquated technology and cheesy props. The end result was guests using the photo booth solely because it was there. A totally forgettable experience. Jamar knew there was an opportunity to bring a better experience to events and launched Hot Booths.

Hot Booths Photo Booths sit at the intersection of high quality and easy-to-use technology with simple, light-hearted props and add-ons; photos that will capture the fun when shared on social media and prints that will liven up office cubicles and kitchen refrigerators long after your event.

Hot Booths is a Black owned company based in Brooklyn, servicing the Tri-State area of New York, New Jersey and more. We’ve brought photo booth fun to over 350 events since launching the company seven years ago.

I have one of the best jobs ever. I get to spend days helping your loved ones and/or colleagues share laughs and capture moments that will live on well past your event.

When I’m not photoboothing I’m hanging with my wife and kids at home in Brooklyn, jamming to music, baking, or reading.
